Lions - Nuru
Date of Birth: January 2002
Nuru is one of the three Cheli and Peacock mothers, along with Siti and Lilly. She is often seen with these lionesses and the younger females around Elephant Pepper Camp. She can be identified from her pridemates by her ear tears and rather light, grey coat, which gave her the name 'Nuru', which means 'light' in Swahili.
