Kioni is the oldest lioness in the river Pride. Kioni means 'she who sees'. she is mother to Doto and Nakato. She can be identified by the distinctive tear in her right ear, her spotted nose and also her broken canine. Her whisker spots are rather difficult to see as her fur is patchy and worn.
